For generations, plants and working the roots have held a special place within my soul family, ancestral lineage, and greater African-American community. African-American herbalism, traditional Western herbalism and folk plant-ways have taught me much about self-healing, community building, and transforming intergenerational trauma. I am a spiritual herbalist, connecting the needs of the mind, body, and spirit in my herbalism and art practice. I am grateful to my ancestral teachers and guides training me in my plant walk and continuing to guide my path.

I am always learning new skills through ongoing education in the spirit of gaining mastery and expanding my community. I have had the honor of completing study under the apprenticeship of Master Herbalist Karen Rose, training in a cohort in the art & practice of spiritual herbalism. I have also benefited from the skillsets taught by Flower Priestess & Energy Practitioner Maryam Hasnaa in her Etheric Gardening apprenticeship.

I truly believe we can look to nature to embody a blueprint for the liberation of our earth. It is with this vision that I create the space for this collective, Liberation Apothecary, to nurture others and grow together.
